About Cofi

About The Role
The product engineering team creates the face of Cofi. We organize in small product groups (two to five engineers in close partnership with PM and design) with huge autonomy over what we build and how we build it.
You’ll work with PM and design to develop creative new ways for our users to extract relevant information from their raw data. You have strong opinions about maintainable front-end design patterns. You’re excited about the challenge of building experiences that are powerful but delightful to use.
Recent projects include:
• A powerful new way to visualize and explore all the different ways users navigate a product.• A host of improvements to our core analysis tool.• Features to keep data clean, accurate, and trustworthy.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
• Experience launching and maintaining large-scale web products.
• Strong opinions about shipping bug-free software, but knowledge of when to compromise and move fast.
Our stack
The current stack consists of a Python 3 application that communicates with the different clients through a REST API using FastAPI. For the web platform we use TypeScript with Vue 3 (we opted for Composition API) + Tailwind CSS.
For the data layer that we currently use PostgreSQL, although given the nature of our platform there are many interesting challenges in this area and solutions to be defined.

About the Relevance & Discovery (R&D) Team
How do you know that the data you're looking at is accurate? What if you launch an expensive product based on the wrong information? How do you have confidence in making critical decisions? These are questions the Relevance & Discovery team are trying to answer for Cofi's largest customers. As companies grow and add more data into Cofi it is important to surface the right information to make data-driven decisions, our team focuses on this by building features such as search, collaboration, permissions, and much more. Your goal: improve how large customers engage with Cofi to build better products.
Cofi is organized in small product groups (two to five engineers in close partnership with product management and design) to test out user experiences, iterate quickly, and use data-driven validation to get to the best solutions for our customers. You’ll work with product management and design to build and refine creative new ways to make Cofi intuitive for new users and growing our self serve the business.
Responsibilities
Build customer-facing web application products, collaborating closely with product management and design. The full-stack role will require working in Python, and interacting with our deployment on AWS.
Requirements
• Minimum qualifications
- Someone who is excited to build intuitive UIs that help make customers more productive.
- Experience leading projects (breaking down complex tasks, mentorship, etc.).

About the Role
Product Managers help us build valuable products for customers by focusing our engineering and design teams on the problems that matter most.
Responsibilities
• Innovate on our core analysis product by working closely with 5-10 engineers and designers.
• Study usage data, read support tickets and talk to customers weekly.
• Synthesize customer and market signals into straightforward strategies and product proposals.
• Align engineering and design teams on the correct problems with clear, written communication.
• Craft compelling narratives to help our sales and marketing teams win customers.
• Help shape the product function at Cofi — what it's responsible for, how it interfaces with other teams, and how it'll develop over time.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
• 2-5 years of hands-on product management experience (working with engineers and designers to build software products for customers).
• Fluency in data analysis using tools like Cofi, SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc.
• Experience doing user research and working with customers to test product hypotheses.
• An ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative signals to drive clarity on what to build.
• A track record of developing, articulating, and executing product strategies.

About the Mid-Market (Scaleups) Sales Team
Our Sales team manages the full sales cycle, helping prospects and existing customers leverage Cofi to analyze, measure, and improve their data, metrics and reports. The team consists of two roles - Account Executives who bring in new business, and Relationship Managers responsible for nurturing existing customers. The Mid-Market (Scaleups) team specifically covers companies with employee sizes from 201-1000, with an emphasis on high-growth tech companies who are changing the world around us.
About the Role
As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you'll help our future customers understand the power of Cofi as the best-in-class metric framework solution in the market. Collaboration is key, from building strong relationships with prospects and key stakeholders to working with internal cross-functional partners like Sales Engineering to win together as one team. You'll leverage your prospecting skills selling SaaS to tech companies alongside strong knowledge of Cofi's product and ecosystem to close new business, powering the next generation of innovative companies.
Responsibilities
• Prospect into specific targeted accounts — build and maintain pipeline while owning the sales cycle from start to finish.
• Drive awareness of Cofi as a solution within the marketplace and handle inbound requests from interested prospects.
• Approach all deals with a customer-focused mentality. Develop relationships and uncover the needs of multiple key stakeholders to find value moments.
• Sell with a long-term consultative approach.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with key partners such as Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product, Marketing, and Legal.
• Intimately understand Cofil's competition as well as technology partners to consult customers on our place in the broader analytics market.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
• Full cycle SaaS Sales Experience from prospect to close, as an Account Executive or related cross-functional role like Sales Engineer.
• Strong outbound prospector and have had success at closing net new business deals.
• Effective communicator and collaborator — you have strong interpersonal skills and are an excellent team player.

About the Role
Cofi’s Customer Success Managers (CSMs) own product adoption and value delivery across Cofi’s most strategic accounts. CSMs are data-obsessed and passionate about helping customers increase their rate of innovation. CSMs get customers in their portfolio access to the data they need to drive informed decision-making. CSMs will partner closely with Account Executives and Product Managers to guide our customers to success and ensure they achieve a significant return on their Cofi investment.We are building out our team and are looking for someone who can provide hands-on consultation to a portfolio of high-value customers.
Responsibilities
• Develop a thoughtful understanding of customers’ businesses and their core goals, and partner with them to establish supporting goals.
• Host analytics workshops, brainstorms, and product trainings (both remote and onsite) to ensure end users adopt and use Cofi.
• Stay informed on Cofi use cases and industry experience and use it to guide customer consulting.
• Train customers on how to adopt a data-informed, iterative product development approach using Cofi to drive business KPIs.
• Keep customers informed of new product releases, relevant betas, and upcoming features.
• Collect and consolidate customer product feedback and champion the needs of your portfolio with Cofi’s Engineering and Product organizations.
• Identify room for integration optimization; build a plan detailing required steps and resources and manage all partners towards achievement.
• Partner with Professional Services to coordinate implementation and advanced technical services.

Responsibilities
• Research defined commercial accounts, identify key players, generate interest and engage with potential customers in the tech sector.
• Conduct outbound activities to prospect, educate, and develop target accounts.
• Partner with Account Executives to prioritize activities against a strategic target account list.
• Have immaculate SFDC hygiene to ensure efficient lead management and record-keeping while building and maintaining data integrity.
• Provide feedback to ensure continuous process optimization.
• Partner closely with account executives in your segment to build and iterate on strategies.
We're looking for someone with:
• Corporate sales development experience or equivalent experience (Software sales is a plus).

Alexander and Francisco, the two co-founders of cofi.ai, met while working in an European debt fund. While working there, they noticed that finance tools were a privilege only some companies could afford whereas SMEs and Mid-Market companies had to struggle with multiple spreadsheets for reporting, planning or consolidation. They felt the need to help these companies with an all-in-one finance and performance management platform with a fast implementation and a low total cost of ownership.
Economist and Data Science Masters, Alex has a background in capital markets in debt funding transactions. As cofi.ai CEO, he is in charge of the strategy, investor relationships and key partnerships. In addition, he supports the product department by providing his knowledge in the data field, which he complements with his experience in the financial sector.
Fran is the former CTO of a payment processing platform and worked as a tech manager in a debt fund. At cofi.ai, he is the head of the tech and product departments. With more than 10 years in leadership positions and entrepreneurial environments, he is in charge of defining the product vision and leading the team that will make possible the development of the technological platform.
Aaron is the former VP of Client Services for Workiva (NYSE: WK). He also managed a professional services team for Dell (NYSE: DELL) and was CTO forGeneration Bridge. At Cofi.ai, he is responsible for strategy and product. With more than 30 years leading teams in SaaS and technology, Aaron will be spearheading cofi.ai’s vision, market penetration and product fit to accelerate growth and innovation.
